Constantly growing UK car market is filled with various models of cars of different brands. Therefore, to attract buyers, automakers have to constantly come up with new, unexpected advertising courses.
As part of such an extraordinary campaign here Skoda decided to play one of the oldest monuments of the island nation, but with a car shape. Construction called Sitihendzh (Citihenge), inspired by the ancient Stonehenge in Wiltshire, reproduced from old cars. At its inception, the team led by renowned artist Tommy Ghana took about three months, and another 12 hours in putting it into effect.
For facilities Sitihendzha was used scrap eighteen cars total weight of 36 tons, each "megaliths" has dimensions of five meters in height and five in width, and can withstand hurricane winds. After dismantling the unit can be completely recycled.
Sitihendzh comfortably located on the emerald green lawn on the south bank of the Thames near the famous Tower Bridge in London and was opened in the summer solstice, marking an exit Skoda Citigo(Czech version of the Volkswagen Up!) To the UK market.
