AvtoVAZ stopped the release of classic models

In August halted production AvtoVAZ "classical"Sedan Lada 2107 – now this model will be assembled in Russia only on plant capacity "IzhAvto."

In an interview with the radio station "Echo of Moscow" the president Igor Komarov AUTOVAZ. According to "Avtostat" in August "Seven" were half production plan "IzhAvto." As previously reported, only in August of Izhevsk assembly line come 9993 car.

Recall that in mid-March, Izhevsk Automobile Plant began test collection vehicles Lada 2107, and at the end of April – complete cycle model. For the first seven months of 2011 from Izhevsk assembly rose 10,734 "Seven." It should be noted that the implementation of the Car Lada 2107 deals exclusively AvtoVAZ. In addition, "IzhAvto" also produces the "classical" universal Lada 2104 and vans on their base IZH-27175.

According to Komarov, AvtoVAZ with Renault-Nissan sees serious prospects of Izhevsk car factory, and in 2015 plans to increase production at the Izhevsk ground to 250-300 thousand cars a year.
