Control the car will be just one hand

Developers of Spain constructed original "joystick", which is a "remote control" and steering wheel, and transmission and brake pedal, accelerator. This device is intended to simplify the driving disabled.
At present motorists with disabilities, especially with paralysis of the lower limbs, forced the management machine using a complex set of buttons and levers. Spanish designers who work on the basis of biomechanical Institute (Valencia), University of Navarra, companies Ficosa, could "lock" all control functions on a single vehicle leverage.
To manage this lever the driver will be involved only one arm. Thus, the motorist will unfold, brake, shift speeds and thus receive the same return, which is a normal car with a turn steering, pedal.
For those drivers who have muscle weakness of hands, the developers made it possible programming system based on power and coordination abilities.
Prototype device was demonstrated in Valencia during the June 13-16 European automotive Congress EAEC 2011. While the authors did not report the types of vehicles will be equipped with this device, also unknown value updates and launch date of its production.
