New excise taxes on new cars

According to the draft of this law, which has already appeared on the ministry's website, less than 90 hp, that excise duty on such vehicles will not apply. But the amount of excise duty on machinery capacity 90-150 hp next 2012 is 29 rubles. each horse power in 2013, the amount of excise tax will increase to 31 rubles. per one horsepower in 2014 – to 34 rubles.

According to the draft law, the cars and motorcycles with a capacity exceeding 150 hp will apply in 2012 excise tax in the amount of 285 rubles. a 1 hp, in 2013, the amount will be charged excise tax is 302 rubles., in 2014 – 332 rubles.

Thus, Russia's Finance Ministry plans to raise excise to the level of average inflation, ie somewhere by 9%. At the moment the bill is considered and not yet approved.
