Recycling fee for Russian cars

Government of Ukraine issued a decree according to which utilization fee introduced for all vehicles imported from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Resolution requires all businesses and individuals who import Russian vehicles independently provide further procurement and disposal of waste generated by the loss of their consumer properties or contract for such work with the companies that have the necessary capacity and licenses . The main waste are: body, battery, plastics and rubber products.

According to the published ordinance recycling fee for cars from Russia with engine 1-2 thousand cubic meters. cm is $ 922, with volume 2-3 thousand cm – $ 1.8 thousand for 3-3,5 thousand cubic meters. cm – $ 2.4 thousand, and the owners of vehicles with a cylinder capacity of the motor over 3.5 thousand cubic meters. cm will pay $ 3.8 thousand.

For used car scrappage tax will be even larger. If the release of the car more than three years, the rate increased by 6,2-6,4 times, and for cars of the same period with an engine capacity of 3-3.5 thousand cubic meters. cm – in 8.2 times.

These "questionable" actions Ukrainian parliament decided to adopt in response to the Russia-utilization fee on the car, including Ukrainian, but at the moment the country are negotiating to dispense these meetings.
